About the Library
A public library with a broad humanitarian profile, three reading rooms, and regular cultural events
The Aafjes Amsterdam Public Library contains 100 thousand editions, including books and magazines, audiobooks, documentaries, and records.

The library has two reading rooms with working areas and one computer room where you can use the resources of our electronic catalog. Here you also can get informational advice, use a printer and have some fresh coffee. The entry to the library is free, but if you want to take books home, you need to register for a library card.
